POSITION: Long Term Substitute High School Science Teacher (Physics and Biology, March - June 2025)

LOCATION: Arlington High School

POSITION GOAL: To provide science instruction according to the Arlington Public School curriculum and Massachusetts standards. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Science Teacher at the High School level 
• Degrees in Science and Education preferred
• Teaching experience desired
• Experience working with students at the High School Level.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach five sections total, including Physics and Biology
• Follow district policies and school and department expectations with respect to instruction, grading, communication to parents and families
• Perform other such related duties as may be required by the Director of Science or Building Administrator.
