POSITION: 1st Grade LTS
LOCATION: Stratton School
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as an early childhood teacher or elementary teacher
- SEI Endorsement required.
- Experience working with students at the elementary level.
OVERVIEW:
The Stratton School is accepting applications from applicants interested in teaching 1st grade as a long-term substitute beginning August 27, 2025 through December 23, 2025.
Candidates for this 1st grade teaching position must be appropriately licensed for the position. Candidates must also be collaborative professionals who will work with grade level teams and regular and special educators throughout the School and District. Must love working with children and be willing to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students in the classroom. In addition, Arlington expects teachers to work diligently and collaboratively to implement the District's approved curriculum for all subjects. Candidates for this position who also have an English as a Second Language license will be strongly preferred.
