POSITION: Long Term Substitute High School Science Teacher (Physics and Biology, March - June 2025)
LOCATION: Arlington High School
POSITION GOAL: To provide science instruction according to the Arlington Public School curriculum and Massachusetts standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Science Teacher at the High School level
- Degrees in Science and Education preferred
- Teaching experience desired
- Experience working with students at the High School Level.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach five sections total, including Physics and Biology
- Follow district policies and school and department expectations with respect to instruction, grading, communication to parents and families
- Perform other such related duties as may be required by the Director of Science or Building Administrator.
