Position:     Kindergarten Teaching Assistant

 

Job Goals:

 

To support a Kindergarten classroom by assisting the teacher with classroom responsibilities.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  183-day, full time position.  35 hours per week (average of 7 hours per day). The school day begins for students at 8:00 AM and ends at 2:30 PM.  Specific schedule to be determined by the Building Principal.

REPORTS TO:  Building Principal/Assistant Principal

 

Salary: $25.62-$26.17 per hour, 7 hours per day, 183 work days.  This position is eligible for benefits and is required to enroll in the Town of Arlington Retirement System.
