The Arlington Public Schools has an opening for a part time music teacher at the Gibbs Grade 6 School. We are seeking a dynamic and talented music educator who demonstrates strong pedagogical, musical, and vocal skills. They will work collaboratively in a team of highly motivated and dedicated Gibbs School and K-12 Performing Arts Department educators. The successful candidate exhibits dynamic interpersonal skills to motivate and engage students, and can maintain and enhance enthusiastic engagement in music-making in a safe, supportive, and student-centered environment. Applicants should be familiar with Soundtrap app and audio editing. Proficient on guitar. Keyboard (piano) and song writing skills are prefered.
